Welcome! Our unified P-12 district serves about 4,300 students and consists of the Amador County Unified School District and the Amador County Office of Education. Our schools and communities are nestled in the heart of the Gold Country in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, close to San Francisco, Sacramento, Yosemite and Lake Tahoe. Amador County Unified School District has two comprehensive high schools, one alternative high school, two junior high schools and six elementary schools.

Applicant must possess a current California Teaching Credential or be eligible for an Emergency 30-day Credential (Bachelor's degree, Certificate of Clearance and Basic Skills Requirement). More information on the California Commission on Teaching website: ctc.ca.gov Three recent Letters of Recommendation (within the last 5 years) are required. Current clear TB Test and DOJ fingerprinting at Amador County Unified School District will be required. These are scheduled through HR during onboarding if you are selected.
