Job Summary

Under the direction of the Finance and Budget Director or designee, the Human Resources and Payroll Specialist performs a variety of technical and intermediate clerical duties in the human resource areas of recruitment and selection support, development and maintenance of personnel files, analysis of credentials, HRIS administration, employee communications and writing, typing and submission of reports relating to federal and state mandates and human resource programs. This position is responsible for the employee centralized benefit and absence leave systems and the day to day operations of Natomas Charter School and client charter schools’ human resources functions and employee training systems; calculation and distribution of salary agreements for all staff in accordance with employment hourly/salary agreements, assist with employee handbook revisions and overall human resources communication and correspondence to employees. This position requires accuracy in preparing documents and communications to employees, initiative and flexibility in assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
