Job Summary
St. Albans Country Day School is seeking highly qualified elementary teachers to be apart of our applicant pool for the 2024-2025 school year. Qualified applicants should be able to effectively teach language arts, writing, science, math, and social studies as well as problem solving and creative thinking. Students should be taught to see connections between what they are learning in the classroom and the world around them. Candidates should be self-motivated, pay attention to detail, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment. The integration of interactive lessons and the use of Promethean Whiteboards are required. Candidates should also be familiar with ways to teach students using an on-line platform and Chromebooks in the classroom.. Excellent classroom management skills and outstanding parent communication is a must. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, successful experience teaching in a classroom setting and a valid California teaching credential. A Master’s degree is a plus.
