1. Prep period and Study Hall are built into the junior high and high school master schedules for every teacher. Elementary teachers have built-in prep time, too.
2. The District will pay for your two year induction program and provide you with a mentor.
3. The ACUSD allows year for year experience credit, when placing employees on the salary schedule. Experience must be fulltime, contracted work & over 75% of school year to qualify.
Full time employees are required to enroll in a benefits package as part of total compensation (see www.amadorcoe.org website, Department, Business, then Benefits for plan details and rates).
Current clear TB Test and DOJ fingerprinting at Amador County Unified School District for the hired candidate will be required.
