Job Summary

DEFINITION Under supervision of the Director of Maintenance or designee; perform highly skilled work in the installation, maintenance and repair of commercial heating ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment; operate computerized Energy Management Systems. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; any combination equivalent to sufficient training and experience in heating, cooling, and ventilating equipment to demonstrate journeyman level proficiency. Licenses and other requirements: Valid California Driver’s License. Driving record acceptable to the District insurance carrier. Environmental Protection Agency Clean Air Act 608 Certification (type universal).
