The Westminster School District is announcing the opening for the position of Assistant Superintendent, Business Services. Under the general direction of the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services plans, organizes and directs the Fiscal Services, Nutrition Services, Purchasing, Facilities, Transportation and Maintenance and Operations functions of the District; serves as the Chief Business Official of the District; supervises and evaluates the performance of assigned staff.

Requirements / Qualifications

Qualifications: The District is seeking an experienced candidate with a minimum of five years of successful administrative and supervisory experience within an educational business environment or a comparable governmental experience. Knowledge of governmental budgeting, accounting, purchasing and contracts, audit and fiscal control procedures, laws and regulations governing public school finance and effective supervision and evaluation of personnel. Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships. The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree in business or educational administration, or CPA preferred.
