Requirements / Qualifications
Education/Experience: Any combination equivalent to High School diploma, supplemented by approved apprenticeship program in carpentry, and three (3) years of experience in the trade of carpentry. Required Certificate: Forklift certification within 6 months of employment Required Exam: Must pass the SUHSD Carpenter classified position exam Application Material Required: Resume Three (3) Letters of Reference/Recommendation *Internal applicants highly encouraged to provide a resume and references

*Per agreement between SUHSD and CSEA: From January 1, 2019 through June 30, 2024, all new hired employees within CSEA 258, 471 and 731 bargaining units will begin at Step 1 of the respective salary schedule regardless of experience.
