JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director-Special Education, provide training and consultation to staff and parents and/or direct services to assist students with an Individual Education Plan (IEP) that designates occupational therapy: participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and serve a part of a multi-disciplinary team: determine accommodations for assigned special education students; prepare records, assessments, treatment plans, reports, and billings. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an approved occupational therapy program consistent with licensing requirements and two years of school-based occupational therapy experience including experience in the IEP process.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: * Registration by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. * Valid Occupational Therapy Association of California license. * Valid First Aid and CPR certifications issued by an authorized agency. * Valid California class C driver’s license and evidence of appropriate insurance may be required.
