Job Summary

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Special Education, the Special Education Related Services Coordinator assists in the assigning of Special Education service providers organizes the list of Special Education providers, management of the master Special Education provider list, locates new Special Education providers in areas that are more convenient for our students and their families, drafts contracts for the review and approval of the Director of Special Education, follows up with families to see if they are getting the required Special Education services from their assigned providers per student’s IEP, completes a monthly audit of IEP’s to make sure all Special Education services are being provided per compliance with laws, codes, and regulations related to Special Education, and performs related work as required.

Requirements / Qualifications

B.A. or B.S. from an accredited university. Experience in the field may be substituted for in lieu of a college degree.
