About the Employer
Each of our 18 different school sites is a “School of Choice” with individual focuses such as health and fitness, drama and the arts, technology, music and science just to mention a few. The district is broken into four areas called quadrants. Students have the opportunity to choose any school within the quadrant in which they live based on their interest AND still have transportation provided. VESD works consistently to meet the needs of 12,000 students through providing quality professional development for our staff, collaborating with parents and community members, listening to students and benchmarking best practices across the nation.

- Possession of appropriate current credential for assignment, CLAD/ EL Authorization or proof of intern eligibility. - MVM Teachers should either hold a Lower Elementary (ages 6-9) Montessori Teacher Certification or be willing to complete a 2-year Montessori training program (paid by MVM)

Mountain View Montessori is a dependent charter of the Victor Elementary School District (VESD). Students in grades TK-6 are served in full day classrooms. Each classroom is reduced in size and has an instructional aide to support the Montessori method of instruction. VESD and MVM provide many training opportunities for professional development.
