The impact you will have: The Assistant Manager in the Superintendent’s Office functions as an executive assistant; performs a wide variety of complex, confidential, and sensitive administrative support work involving a high degree of responsibility for public contact with school officials, including the Board of Education, District staff, the public, students and parents. Provides secretarial support to the Superintendent, Deputy Superintendent, Associate Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent, including day-to-day management of office functions, i.e.: phone calls, correspondence, coordination and scheduling meetings. Acts as an information source regarding District policies, procedures and objectives; responding to inquiries and giving out information where independent judgment, knowledge, and interpretation of policies, procedures, and regulations is necessary. Assists staff, parents, students and employees in resolution of concerns brought to the Superintendent’s Office. Supports staff to implement District goals. Maintains file of weekly, monthly and annual responsibilities for administrators, prompting for timely closure. Coordinates the work of division/department employees as appropriate.
