Requirements / Qualifications

Pursuant to the State Public Health Officer Order of August 11, 2021 affecting all tk-12 public and private school employees, all El Dorado County Office of Education employees and substitutes are required to either provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccination or participate in weekly COVID-19 testing. The El Dorado County Office of Education is seeking a permanent 10-month Instructional Leader position to coincide with the student calendar. The Instructional Leader will include working directly with the Principal and instructional staff among two Charter programs located at the Charles Brown campus: Charter Connections Academy and Charter University Prep for student support and supervision four days per week, Monday through Thursday, 7.5 hours per day, FTE .75. Job duties will include, but are not limited to: - Student outreach via phone, Zoom, and on-site when applicable. - Working with special needs students - Student supervision. - Food distribution. - Classroom support as needed. - Participate in student wellness and student life activities under the supervision of administration and mental health clinician. - Contributing to a positive school climate - Help student with work completion in a study hall environment Key characteristics we are looking for: - Ability to quickly form positive relationships with students, parents, and staff - Ability to organize and maintain school records efficiently - Ability to multi-task between working with records and interaction with students, staff, and parents - Ability to fill in with the support necessary to help smoothly run campus with minimal supervision - Ability to quickly reach proficiency with basic school management and communication software, as well as office related programs including Word, Excel, & Outlook To be considered, the following documents must be uploaded to a complete application: **If you have at least 48 units of college credit or an AA please also upload your official transcripts**
