Credential Information: A valid, unexpired California credential authorizing School Nurse Services is required for regular and substitute school nurse positions. The following are acceptable credentials: • School Nurse Services Credential (authorization code R52N) • Health Services Credential with School Nurse Authorization (authorization code R52A) Individuals without one of the credentials listed above must show evidence of eligibility for and willingness to obtain the Preliminary School Nurse Services Credential. Requirements for the Preliminary School Nurse Services Credential is found on the Commission on Teacher Credentialing’s School Nurse Services leaflet CL-380. Further questions regarding the School Nurse Credential may be sent to BCOE Credentials Support at credentials@bcoe.org.

Salary Schedule 4G, $411.27 - $638.01 daily. Placement dependent on education experience. Annual stipend pay: Master's $1,200 or Doctorate $2,000 or License Stipend $1,200 (Prorated upon hire)
