The Teacher must be able to consistently, and successfully perform all essential functions of the position.
Requirements / Qualifications
- 12 to 17 Semester units in ECE or CD units (including 3 core areas of “CUR” =Curriculum, “CFC” =Child Family Community, “CGD” =Child Growth Development") as well as 50 days of teaching experience in last 2 years.
- Associate Teacher Permit or eligibility to obtain an Associate Teacher permit
- 6 months Experience as an Assistant Teacher in a group care environment.
- Current TB Clearance, physical screening, and First Aide and CPR Certification.
- Active Fingerprint Clearance with DSS/CCL and/or submittal of Fingerprint Cards with signed Criminal Record Statement prior to employment.
- Must possess California Drivers License and meet minimum insurance requirements for personal vehicle and have a driving record which meets the standards set forth in Administrative Regulation 4532 and 4533.
