This position is funded by one-time funding and are intended to ensure the consistent delivery of education support and services within our Child Development programs. The position will end on June 1, 2022. Under the supervision of the Director or designee, the State Preschool teacher is responsible for providing an engaging and secure learning environment in which children can expand their knowledge and skills through a variety of experiences and interactions which form a foundation for school readiness and later school success. All responsibilities and duties are to be carried out in accordance with the California Education Code, the State Administrative Code, and the policies of the El Dorado County Office of Education. Continued operation of the State Preschool Program and employment of staff is dependent on the availability of State Funding. Education Required: ~ Valid CA Child Development Permit ~ High School Diploma (required) Experience Required: ~ Three years recent experience in early care and education programs Proof of Measles & Pertussis immunization or immunity required.
