In preparation for the opening of MacDonald High School (MHS), the new Vice-Principal will have the following desired attributes:
Prior experience supporting positive behavior by implementing Restorative and Transformative Practices (i.e., facilitating community circles, conducting conflict mediations, supporting teachers with classroom management as needed).
Prior experience with development of Behavior Intervention Plans, and the facilitation of Student Support Team (SST), 504, and Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Meetings.
Prior experience building a master schedule.
Availability to support with evening and weekend school events (e.g., athletics, dances, parent nights, contests).
Demonstrated knowledge of the MTSS and PBIS Models.
Prior experience with facilitating student activities (i.e., Associated Student Body Meetings, the RPO process, and events).
Ability to support the new MHS Athletics Director in the build out of our athletic program.
