Job Summary

Job Summary

Responsibilities include management of Water of Life's Preschool, licensed for up to 123 children per day, located at our Upland Campus. Candidate must have a heart for ministry to children and implementing the core values of Water of Life Community Church. Some duties are as follows: Schedule tours with potential new students/families and follow-up. Process waitlist/enroll new students/process registration paperwork. Building relationship with new families/schedule visit for student/parent before first day of school. Update school allergy lists/notify staff. Interview/hire qualified staff. Staff personnel files/LIC employee paperwork; keeping files current, updating CPR-First Aid/TB every two years, etc. Staff work schedules/break schedules/timesheets. Assist with scheduling and running staff meetings/work with Elem admin for coordinated staff training/in-service days. Assist with staff incentives and moral boosters/spiritual encouragement and growth. Maintain classroom rosters/LIC capacity and classroom emergency books. Assist with tuition proposals to administration/school board. Plan PS calendar including family events Moms day/Dads day/Gparents Day/Multicultural week/Christmas/Graduation/etc.; assigning coordinator for each event. Work with Elem admin on yearly PS calendar/PTF fundraising and other joint school events (ex. Moving Up days for pre-k to kinder). Schedule/staff parent conference (twice yearly). Plan/enroll/ staff Summer program; choosing curriculum/theme. Assist with Staff and Parent Handbook updates and enforcement of policies and procedures. Update Parent Board monthly/Monthly newsletter info to office admin to process and email to families. Assist with playground inspections, staff safety training/implementation/observation. LIC Title 22 policies followed by staff and maintained. Assist with processing reimbursements/check requests. Emergency drills as required by LIC and all school disaster drills. Requirements / Qualifications

-Minimum of three years classroom experience AND one year administrative experience; AND one of the following: AA in Child Development or ECE OR Child Development Site Supervisor Permit OR BA in Child Development or ECE OR Coursework only (including Administrative/Staff and Health and Safety) AND four years administrative experience -Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills -Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook -Ability to respond flexibly to changing priorities -Current CPR and First Aid Training -Current physical with a TB test -Ability to life/carry up to 40 pounds -Ability to obtain live scan fingerprint and child abuse index clearance by the Department of Justice -Aspire to be a Christian role model in accordance with 1 Timothy, chapter 3 -Maintain a consistent relationship with God, demonstrate a strong and growing walk with Christ and live a Biblical lifestyle that honors Christ -Be personally committed to the ideals, values and mission of WOL -Be a regular tither to WOL -Ability to appropriately handle confidential information; refraining from gossip -Ability to resolve issues according to Matthew 18 -Be/become a member at Water of Life (or similar faith based church) and regularly attend its weekend services -Satisfactory background check
