Requirements / Qualifications

Must hold valid CA Clear Special Education Credential (Education Specialist, Speech Pathologist, School Psychologist) Teaching Credential; 5 years experience in school environment (preferred); experience working in a charter school.

Competency test will be administered to qualified applicants. Must upload the required documents - upload the attachment named exactly as stated (i.e., Letter of Recommendation) AND complete the Target Success Teacher Sketch at the end of the application at the same time of applying - or you will not be considered for this position. Allow 45 minutes to complete the Teacher Sketch.

  • Letter of Introduction (List specific Administrative duties and responsibilities performed)
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 letters of recommendation dated within last 2 years (1 from a Supervisor))

Our Special Education department is growing and we have an opening for a TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment) to help serve our students with special needs. Qualified candidate will act as Administrative Designee for IEP meetings and be responsible for determining an appropriate and timely response to requests and referrals for Special Education assessments, which may include acting as Special Education representative in the RTI process; development of Interim placement forms that demonstrate comparable services for incoming Special Education students; and review of completed IEPs for all components related to compliance.
