Our Special Education department is growing and we have an opening for a TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment) to help serve our students with special needs. This position qualifies for full health and wellness benefits, paid training and professional development, and CalSTRS. Qualified candidate will act as Administrative Designee for IEP meetings and be responsible for determining an appropriate and timely response to requests and referrals for Special Education assessments, which may include acting as Special Education representative in the RTI process; development of Interim placement forms that demonstrate comparable services for incoming Special Education students; and review of completed IEPs for all components related to compliance.
