Job Summary
The Assistant Project Consultant has responsibility for supporting the development, implementation and sustainability of wellness activities supported by the Marin County Office of Education (MCOE). Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent, the Assistant Project Consultant interfaces and provides support in the areas of health, wellness, and mental health within the MCOE, local agencies, and local school districts. The position works closely with the Project Consultant to organize, plan, schedule and hold professional development events and stakeholder meetings that center on wellness and mental health. The position supports initiatives that address the overall health and wellness of the Marin County school community.
Requirements / Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree required. 2. Any combination of three years successful experience in administration and teaching or school based mental health service delivery. 3. Valid Pupil Personnel Services credential in School Psychology or School Counseling preferred. 4. Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices that support the strengthening of wellness within a multi-tiered system of support. 5. Valid California driver’s license. 6. Proficiency in Spanish language is highly desirable.
