Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the assigned administrator or supervisor, perform mechanical work in the inspection, test, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of conventional and transit school buses and a variety of large and small diesel, gas and alternative fueled District vehicles and construction, grounds and auxiliary equipment; make related adjustments, perform tune-ups and maintain related parts, systems and equipment.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and two years experience as a conventional and transit school bus mechanic. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California Class B driver's license and a safe driving record. Valid medical card.
