CERTIFICATED VACANCY FOR THE 2021/2022 SCHOOL YEAR: School Nurse SALARY - Based on 197 workdays $60,828. - $107,457. Master's Degree Stipend - $1,500.00 Doctorate's Degree Stipend - $1,500.00 Applicant MUST POSSESS the following: - Current California Registered Nurse License - School Audiometrist Certificate - Valid School Nurse Services Credential - Public Health Nursing Certificate Documentation of these requirements must accompany the application. ***Special qualifications including knowledge, skills, & abilities: - Knowledge of obtaining in-depth developmental histories, home and environment assessments, and adaptability reports - Knowledge of community agencies and medical facilities - Ability to assistant if effectively dealing with health issues, problems, concerns - Ability to effectively work with school personnel, parents, social service, and appropriate agencies The applicant must pass Department of Justice (DOJ) Fingerprint Clearance. The applicant selected will be required to pay a fingerprint processing fee. The applicant must pass a pre-placement physical. Applicant selected will be required to complete mandatory safety training. Applications must be submitted through the EdJoin website at www.edjoin.org.
