Minimum Qualifications • High school diploma or GED. • Possess or present a plan to obtain, within one year, six units of college coursework in Early Childhood Education, Human Development, Social Services, or related field of study. • Current health screening. • TB clearance. • Proof of current automobile insurance is required if using personal vehicle for job duties or any MCOE business. • Fingerprinting required. Fingerprints must clear DOJ & FBI Live Scan. Synopsis of Position This position works directly under the Early Head Start Program Director. Duties require independent action based on knowledge of proper procedures and agency requirements. Assist with the provision of services to Early Head Start children and their families and assess the quality of services provided. Essential Performance Responsibilities • Actively participate in ongoing monitoring and program development. • Read, understand, interpret, and apply written and oral instructions. • Interact and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with co-workers, clients, and the public. • Work with committees and participate with parents in community activities. • Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with co-workers, clients, and the public. • Maintain accurate written records. • Participate in meetings, training and professional development activities. • Adhere to policies, rules, and regulations as they relate to Early Head Start and Modoc County Office of Education (MCOE). • Execute decisions by the Superintendent. • Exhibit and demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of employees. • Clean all areas of the building, including but not limited to sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, carpet and window cleaning, in accordance with established schedules and standards. • Clean outdoor play areas in accordance with established schedules and standards. • Clean vehicles, interior and exterior
