Job Summary

Job Summary

Sage Oak, in compliance with the current California Department of Public Health order, requires all paid and unpaid workers to either be fully vaccinated or test weekly for COVID-19. Please note, requirements are subject to change based on current legislative updates. POSITION SUMMARY: Provides assessment and direct services related to sensory-motor development and other identified developmental needs; provides consultation related to sensory-motor development; provides direct and consultative occupational therapy services based upon needs determined through the individualized education plan (IEP) process; provides services to infant, preschool and elementary children and their families; participate in IEP meetings; consults with IEP teams; consults with school staff at the general education level and participate in the RtI/SST process; participate in monthly meetings with the special education department team; provides therapy to students. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: -Possess appropriate license by the State Department -Minimum of two years or more successful experience in occupational therapy practice within a public school setting, including practice in assessment and therapy skills appropriate for the needs of a varied student population ADDITIONAL OFFERINGS: - Competitive salary - School issued Macbook/computer and MiFi - Stipends for cell/internet and mileage - Flexible scheduling - Possible virtual work - Health benefit or cash in lieu options
