Modesto City Schools is a Pre-K through 12th grade district, serving approximately 30,000 students. The District is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County, with over 3,200 employees. It is divided into three divisions: Business Services, Educational Services and Human Resources. An Associate Superintendent oversees each division and a variety of programs, such as Early Childhood Education, Child Welfare & Attendance, Special Education, Nutrition Services and Transportation. Requirements / Qualifications
Three (3) years accounting, bookkeeping, clerical, secretarial experience performing complex work tasks. Graduation from high school or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate Clerical Assessment Certificate. To meet this requirement, you must sign up for, take and pass the Modesto City Schools Clerical Assessment. You may sign up for the Assessment by clicking on the "Clerical Assessment Registration" link also found under "Links Related To This Job". Upon receiving a passing score, you will receive a Certificate which you will need to upload to your application. Please note that you may only take the Assessment once every 30 days.
