Job Summary

Beginning in the 2021-2022 school year, a brand new job opportunity is coming to MUSD. This new engaging, cross-curricular position will deliver Science experiences, use Technology, explore Engineering principles and provide Mathematical exploration to K-6, K-8 elementary students. This job is open to both multiple subject and single subject teachers with a passion for engaging students in the wonders of project-based learning centered around concepts in STEM. Collaborative planning time with fellow STEM teachers will be embedded and professional development opportunities provided. A Masters is preferred but not required.

Letter of Intent Resume Credential Transcripts Test Scores (CBEST, CSETS, etc.) (3) Three Letters of Recommendation for External Applicants (1) One Letter of Recommendation for Internal Applicants preferably from current Supervisor Education: 1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. 2. Masters in Mathematics and/or Science and/or STEM preferred or related field of study. 3. Stem Certification(s) from National Institute for STEM Educators (NISE) or other Nationally recognized STEM Certification Program - Must be completed within one year after hire date. Experience: 1. At least three (3) years of classroom teaching experience

Requirements: 1. Valid Multiple Subjects California Teaching Credential or valid Single Subjects California Teaching Credential in Mathematics or Science. 2. Valid Driver’s License.
