Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Assistant Superintendent, organize and direct activities of the District Safety and Security Services department. This position is the District’s chief security office, and emergency response, and disaster preparedness, and assists in implementing the Transformational Justice initiative. This position oversees the operation of the Emergency Command Center.

Job Requirement/Qualifications 1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Public Safety, Public Health, or related field, and four (4) year of experience in and/or school management preferred or Associate Degree with four (4) years of supervisory experience or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience in security from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved, as approved by the Board of Education.
