Requirements / Qualifications

This position is responsible for supporting LEAs in the El Dorado County SELPA or El Dorado Charter SELPA to improve outcomes for students with disabilities. The Program Specialist will be responsible for supporting schools in their endeavor to provide quality services and programs to students with special needs. Essential Duties: Program Specialist will provide technical assistance, training, and support to schools in implementing special education support and services for students with disabilities. The following position requires providing direct, in person support to LEA charters in the South Bay region of the Bay Area. Home office required. Periodic travel to SELPA/Charter SELPA office in Placerville, CA required as well.

Required Qualifications: ~ Valid Special Education Credential, Pupil Personnel Services Credential, or Administrative Services Credential. ~ Minimum five (5) years experience in Special Education with experience in the classroom. Desired Qualifications: ~ Master's Degree ~ Administrative Experience Please include the following along with a completed application:
