Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services and/or Superintendent, this certificated, highly skilled teacher will provide training and instruction in the area of Tier 1 and Tier 2 classroom interventions for teachers at all seven K-12 schools in the District. This person will be involved in peer coaching, staff development, and implementation of a plan to support classroom-based multi-tiered systems of support, for all students, kindergarten through twelfth grade.

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum of three (3) years successful classroom teaching experience while using MTSS and a minimum of one (1) year of successful experience in coordinating professional development or curriculum projects. o Demonstration of successful integration of technology in the classroom o Valid California Clear Teaching Credential with an English Language Learner (ELL) authorization. o Master's degree in education or related field is desired. Valid California Driver's License Attach the following documents:

  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Must be current (within the last 6 months); one of which must be from a current supervisor)
  • Resume

  • Administrative Services Credential

  • Other (California Teaching Credential with EL Authorization)
