Job Summary

Job Summary

The position will work under the direction of the Director, Local District Support Services. The coordinator will lead technical assistance and professional development opportunities for District, Site Administrators, and School Counselors throughout all Local Educational Agencies in Ventura County in alignment to the SBE LCAP, specifically the components of the College & Career Indicator and School Climate.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Equivalent to a Master’s degree earned at an accredited college or university; Successful experience, preferably at both elementary and secondary levels; Successful experience in a supervisory role at a school site or district/county office preferred. Leadership in providing students, teachers and administrators with the skills and knowledge for effective design, implementation, and evaluation of instruction programs, specifically in the areas of counseling services & accountability LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Administrative Services Credential (or be eligible for an administrative preliminary, intern, or waiver credential and obtain and maintain that credential upon receiving a job offer); Pupil Personnel Services credential; Authorization to teach English Learners preferred; Valid California Driver License.
