About the Employer

Welcome to the Santa Maria-Bonita School District website. We are the largest school district in Santa Barbara County with about 17,500 pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade students. In the heart of the coastal agricultural area, we celebrate our families and the support they provide to the students of the District. The District is comprised of seventeen elementary schools, four junior high schools, and one combined elementary and junior high. Requirements / Qualifications

Any combination equivalent to: Graduation from High School supplemented by coursework or training in modern HVAC systems, and two years of journey level experience as an HVAC technician, A DMV Printout (Issued within the last 60 days) is required for this position. If you are a Food Service Worker, Warehouse Delivery Driver, Instructional Assistant III Behavioral Support Assistant, or work in another position that requires a DMV printout, you won't be required to submit a new one. The DMV printout MUST be submitted by the application deadline. We cannot accept late documents. Driver's Record can be requested through CA DMV online at the following website: https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/customer-service/request-vehicle-or-driver-records/online-driver-record-request

  • DMV Printout (valid if issued within past 60 days, not required if already working in a position which requires a DMV printout)
  • Proof of HS Graduation (Or Equivalent: Will accept High School Diploma, GED Certificate, or Official Transcripts stating Graduation from High School. Will also accept verification of Higher Education, if any)
