Requirements / Qualifications
The Clinical School Therapist (CST’s) works within their credential and licensure based on guidelines defined by the Board of Behavioral Sciences. CTS’s support the social-emotional wellness of students and families in schools and provides guidance to staff in supporting students’ wellness and mental health. Provides intensive mental health and behavioral services for students including assessment, counseling, consultation, treatment and case management for individuals, groups, and families.
1. Possession of a valid Pupil Personnel Services credential, including a master’s degree, authorizing services in school counseling and/or school social work issued by the State of California, AND a California State License in Marriage and Family Therapy and/or Clinical Social Work. 2. Bilingual (Spanish) highly desirable. 3. A minimum of two (2) years of experience. 4. Ability to work effectively in a multi-ethnic community 5. Valid California Driver’s License
