Job Summary
The permitted preschool teacher will be the lead teacher responsible for teaching and supervising an assigned classroom of children following Title 22 and Title 5 regulations. The teacher will work to maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom, outdoors, and on field trips. The teacher will plan and organize developmentally age-appropriate activities that meet the needs of each child a daily basis through intentional planning and recording of demonstrated behaviors, skills and abilities. The teacher will supervise classroom aides and maintain ratio for the health and safety of all children in the program.
Requirements / Qualifications
*A Current Child Development Permit Required- Associate Teacher, Teacher, Master Teacher or Site Supervisor Level *Resume *Three letters of reference *Letter of Interest- including why you would like to work in preschool education and preferred age groups
Child Development Permit Proof of the ability to work in the United States Current EMSA First Aid/CPR Card MMR, Influenza, Tdap Immunizations Current TB clearance FBI and DOJ Fingerprint Clearance Physician's Statement of good health Approved Mandated Reporter Training Certificate

Experience in a Title 5 program highly desirable
Infant/Toddler units highly desirable.
Knowledge of DRDP's, CLASS, QPI, and ECERS desired but not necessary
Aware of DAP and current trends
