Job Summary
GENERAL Administers the delivery of psychological and educational services on site which relate to the individual assessment and identification of: individuals with exceptional needs including their management, placement and education; mentally gifted and talented students; and, in general education programs, for behavior and learning problem students. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES • Observes, interviews and evaluates children using a wide variety of psychological instruments including, but not limited to: tests of intelligence, achievement, aptitude and personality • Coordinates educational planning with other members of the multidisciplinary assessment team in order to develop Individual Education Plans • Counsels with individuals and/or groups of students to bring about specific behavior changes • Interprets results of individual and/or group evaluations for teachers, administrators and other school professionals by means of written reports and/or conferences
Requirements / Qualifications
Candidate must have their MA/MS degree and PPS Credential authorizing School Psychological Services.
