Through the use of the telephone, Internet, and various curriculum tools they will consult regularly with learning coaches and students to ensure that each child successfully completes his or her instructional program.

Working from our Ripon or San Juan Capistrano offices, or from your own home office, certified teachers will “virtually” manage instructional programs. Through the use of the telephone, Internet, and various curriculum tools they will consult regularly with learning coaches and students to ensure that each child successfully completes his or her instructional program.
The Elementary Teacher will be responsible for the successful completion of the following tasks:
Elementary teachers will be the central point of contact for families;
Communicate every other week with parents and students to provide feedback on student progress, suggest instructional approaches and strategies,
Monitor and hold families accountable for daily lesson completion, assignments and attendance;
Support the instructional program with synchronous instruction;
Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure that all students are successfully progressing through the program;
Complete all grading, and provide meaningful feedback in timely manner;
Keep student records and data up-to-date, online student and family information, attendance accounting, and logging all student and parent contacts;
Develop a general knowledge of the entire program’s K-5 curriculum and a very detailed knowledge of the courses for which responsible;
Plan and develop lessons to increase student understanding during synchronous instruction;
Participate in the organization and administration of State Testing that may require overnight stays in areas of California we serve students, as directed;
Work with other teachers to coordinate social activities and relevant field trips for students;
Attend field trips and other community activities implemented for families;
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Highly qualified and certified to teach Elementary in California (appropriate to grade level responsibilities)
Valid California Multiple-Subject credential with English Learner Authorization
Strong time management skills and the ability to self-manage
Strong technology skills (Specifically: Google Platforms; Doc, Sheets, Slides)
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Customer focused approach
High degree of flexibility
Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced environment
Team player track record
Willingness to travel on occasion for school festivals and state testing events (may require occasional overnight travel)
