Under the supervision of the Director, Facilities, and under the work direction of the Maintenance/Facilities Lead (VLC and CCC), skillfully operates a variety of heavy-duty grounds maintenance equipment and performs complex grounds maintenance and gardening functions and activities. Performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: One (1) year verifiable full-time experience in any custodial, grounds, maintenance, shipping/receiving, or other construction/trade related position and be physically able to handle the job responsibilities involved with the care and cleaning of buildings and facilities. Education: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Licenses Required: A valid California driver’s license and the ability to maintain insurability under the District’s vehicle insurance policy. Must understand, speak, and read English at a level required for successful job performance.
