The San Diego County Office of Education is recruiting to fill a vacancy for a Systems Expert, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) with the Integrated Technology Services Division. The Systems Expert, ERP plans, coordinates, and supervises the work of a technical unit responsible for providing application support for designing, configuring, testing, and system administration of various areas of the ERP application modules/system, including human resources, payroll, finance, or retirement functions, for the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) and participating school districts and charter schools. Make a Difference in one of our PeopleSoft Technology Jobs at SDCOE As a Hands-on Leader of PeopleSoft Technology to Shape Strategic Decisions The PeopleSoft Team at SDCOE is currently utilizing PeopleSoft in a Hosted environment. There are approximately 50 LEAs using the HCM and Financial applications. The HCM application consists of HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time/Labor, Absence Management, ESS modules. The FSCM application consists of GL, AR, AP, KK, Purchasing, Inventory, Asset Management, Billing, time/Expense. We are using current and supported PeopleSoft versions: • Application: 9.2 • PUM: HCM r33; FIN r34 • PeopleTools: 8.57 The PeopleSoft Team at SDCOE is currently working on projects in the following areas: • PeopleTools Upgrade 8.58 • PUM Updates for Recruiting (22 Updates) • Recruiting Solution Project • AP/ACH and Supplier Portal • Encumbrances Improvement • Decentralize District ACH returns Remote Work: Option to work remotely for California residents. Our location requirements are in US, California.

THE CURRENT VACANCY IS FOCUSED ON HR AND RECRUITING SOLUTION MODULES


This position requires a combination of education and experience equivalent to: bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data management, or related field, and a minimum of five (5) years of PeopleSoft application and analysis experience as a functional expert in an application system capacity, including two (2) years experience with business process analysis, monitoring data, and resolving related issues for human resources, payroll, finance, or retirement business systems, including PeopleSoft application and analysis experience with at least three (3) HCM and or FSCM modules.

This position also requires two (2) years of Peoplesoft application lead experience; two (2) full life cycles for PeopleSoft implementations on large complex projects; two (2) PUM updates; three (3) years of experience in PeopleSoft 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.5X or above and two (2) years of PeopleSoft Testing Framework experience preferred.

Functional subject matter expert (SME) with the relevant applications and modules below as well as good PeopleSoft product foundational background.

The functional experience must include the following:
PeopleSoft HCM
HR and Position Management
Recruiting Solution
Prefer 2 years of PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF)
