We are looking for substitutes that are able to work our summer school programs. You will be hired as a substitute teacher, so you will be able to continue in a substitute capacity after summer. *This summer OUSD will be offering a robust summer school program to support and enrich the learning of our students. Teaching positions are available for current OUSD substitutes in elementary, middle, and high school. These positions are for the entirety of the summer school session and each selected teacher will teach for the duration as the official teacher. Compensation for summer school teaching will be in alignment with the contracted teacher hourly rates of $47.57 when teaching students or $32.53 when not teaching students. If you are already a substitute teacher with OUSD you do not need to apply to this recruitment.

If you are already a substitute teacher with OUSD you do not need to apply to this recruitment. REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS: 1. Attach current valid California Teaching Credential OR 30-Day Sub Permit. 2. Attach TB skin test certificate read within the last 4 years; we do not accept risk assessments. 3. Attach fingerprint clearance receipt from the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) "Clearinghouse". This is different than the Certificate of Clearance you completed for your credential No other Fingerprint clearance will be accepted. (If you are already in the SDCOE Clearinghouse system, and do not have a receipt, please note that on application and it will be verified with the SDCOE.)
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION: -You must be fully credentialed OR have a 30-Day Sub Permit. -Your credentials/permit MUST be registered with the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE). -You must be in the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) clearinghouse fingerprinting database. NOTE: *Incomplete applications will NOT be considered. *We do not accept emailed, mailed, or faxed documents.
