Job Summary

Under direction, to perform skilled work in installing, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment and systems; to perform semiskilled and skilled duties in other maintenance trade areas; and to do other related work as required or assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education, Training and Experience : • Two years of journeyman level experience in air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating repair. • HS Graduation (high school diploma, official transcripts or equivalent) Please submit the required documents:

1. High school diploma or equivalent education. 2. Two years of journeyman level experience in air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating repair. 3. Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of refrigeration, ventilation, heating, and air conditioning equipment. 4. Knowledge of building codes, policies, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to the typical school district refrigeration, ventilation, heating, and air conditioning equipment. 5. Knowledge of safe working methods and procedures. 6. Ability to skillfully repair, maintain, and overhaul refrigeration, ventilation, heating, and air conditioning equipment. 7. Ability to work from blueprints, shop drawings, sketches, manuals, and diagrams. 8. Ability to maintain records and prepare complete and concise reports. 9. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions. 10. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationship
