Must pre-qualify by attaching one documentation from the following list: 1. A passing score from San Juan Unified School District's Proficiency Exam - testing date must be April 2005 to current. No other school districts proficiency exam will be accepted. OR 2. official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST) OR 3. Proof of an A.A. degree (or higher). ***If your degree/transcripts are from a foreign college or university, YOU MUST have coursework evaluated for its equivalency to a degree/transcripts received from an accredited United States college or university. Instructional Assistant II’s support our mild/moderate and moderate/severe students. We are looking for candidates with any combination of experience and training which provides the candidate with the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job duties; Apply now - Interviews will be held in person July, 31 2021. Comments and Other Information
The works hours can vary. The district pays 100% of the employee’s medical, dental, life and vision insurance coverage and pays 75% of the coverage for dependent medical. For anyone hired in August for a position that is 20 hours or more per week, their benefits start September 1.
Positions that are at least 4 hours or more per day are entitled to full benefits (district-paid medical, dental and vision) for employee, in addition to sick leave, vacation time off and paid holidays.
