Job Summary
Under the direction of the Principal and/or School Administration, the English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher operates within the English Department and works together to support student learning in the English Language. Each teacher is assigned a traditional roster of students and courses to teach. Each teacher is assigned six classes and a modified advisory period called “Bridge.” TPAA also encourages core content teachers to branch out and explore the opportunity to become a trained Project Lead the Way STEM elective teacher.
Requirements / Qualifications
To be considered, please submit the following: • a copy of Single Subject credential in English or eligibility for the California Single Subject Intern credential as of July 2021 • Resume • Cover Letter • Two (2) letters of recommendation dated within one (1) year Position Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university • Valid California Teaching Credential in designated subject area required • Single Subject Teaching Credential in English required • CLAD/ BCLAD/English Learner (EL) Certification OR the commitment to obtain certification within two (2) years of hire date required
