QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
Must have successfully completed a practicum in speech and language, or one year of full-time successful experience as a remedial speech specialist. Applicants who have demonstrated knowledge and experience with programs designed to improve educational opportunities for minority pupils will be given preference.
Education:
Must hold a Master's Degree with a major or specialized training in speech pathology and language and with ASHA certification.
License:
Must hold a California credential authorizing service as a Remedial Speech Specialist, i.e., the Exceptional Child/Speech Hearing Credential, Standard Credential with specialization in the Speech and Hearing Service, Restricted Speech Hearing Credential, or Clinical Services Rehabilitation Credential.
Must possess a valid California driver's license.
