Effective March 1, 2021 through the last day of school for the 2020/21 school year there will be a temporary increase of the substitute teacher rates as follows: Day to Day (Virtual only) All Substitute Assignments $139 Long Term (Virtual only) After the 10th day of a consecutive school day in the same assignment $150 Day to Day (Classic/Virtual) All Substitute Assignments (if you are willing to sub both Classic and Virtual) $185 Long Term (Classic/Virtual) After the 10th day of a consecutive school day in the same assignment $200 VUSD Retired Substitutes Day to Day & Long term (Virtual only) All Substitute Assignments $150 Day to Day & Long Term (Classic/Virtual) All Substitute Assignments (if you are willing to sub both Classic and Virtual) $200 COVID19 Testing Release All Substitute Assignments in the COVID-19 Testing Release Roving Positions or other jobs as assigned by HR $200 This is for time worked after February 28, 2021 and will first be reflected on pay warrants beginning April 30, 2021. Remembering that you are paid one month in arrears.
