This role requires a Single-Subject Credential. The substitute teacher will lead a high school-level Chemistry and AP Chemistry classroom at Milpitas High School. The assignment is currently ongoing until March 22, 2021. The first 20 days of the assignment will be paid at $155 per day. After 21 consecutive classroom days fulfilled, you will be retro-paid to $200 per day. Alternatively, if you have a similar background and experience in Chemistry, we may consider evaluating your transcripts to qualify for a Teaching Permit for Statutory Leave (TPSL) which the applicant will be responsible for obtaining through the Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE) and passing the Background check for fingerprint clearance. *** Milpitas Unified School District does not pay or reimburse for out of pocket expenses.
