Job Summary
Mt. View K-8 has one part-time (.40 FTE), 10 month position to fill. The In-school Resouce Teacher in this position will support and facilitate small group reading intervention across TK-8th grades, as well as collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other staff to support strong literacy instruction in all classrooms in a multiage, constructivist learning environment. This is a .4 position and will have a flexible schedule throughout the school year that is dependent on student needs and collaboration with classroom teachers and PLC teams to discuss students that are being supported.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualified applicants must have a valid Multiple Subjects Credential AND a minimum of three years of elementary classroom teaching experience and/or reading intervention experience. Applicant's credential must be attached to their application and registered with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing by the close of the posting. Applicants must have a valid California driver’s license and be prepared to conduct, participate in, and travel to sites, professional development sessions, workshops, and meetings.
