We have an excellent opportunity for Adjunct Faculty to join our highly engaged teaching staff in the Sanford College of Education, University Support Provider- Special Education. The University Support Provider will serve as the instructor for clinical practice and will be responsible for observe student-teacher candidates completing their program requirements. Note: This position will be teaching online, 9-week courses in the field of Special Education. Essential Job Duties: Assigned to observe, support, and evaluate candidates Supervising candidates assuring that Clinical Practice hours are documented Responsible for completing and entering observations and assessments digitally Assigned as instructor for Clinical Practice, responsible for entering a grade at the end of course Lead classroom sessions on-site and/or online according to university policies Provide expertise in assigned content areas by maintaining current knowledge in the field Respond to student needs in a timely fashion or typically within 48 hours Have a strong emphasis on student-centered learning by encouraging participation in their own learning

Requirements / Qualifications

- Valid California Teaching Credential from the California Commission on Teaching Credentialing (CTC) (Special Education) - Master's Degree in any related specialty
