POSITION DESCRIPTION The Program Manager has responsibility for the management, development, and coordination of curriculum and instructional regional projects and is the lead administrator for a project team; establishes and implements regional services for AVID; coordinates and facilitates various regional committees, staff development and leadership activities; and provides leadership in the design, implementation, and maintenance of innovative practices that support student achievement.

Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Possession of a valid California Administrative Services Credential, Certificate of Eligibility in Administrative or proof of current enrollment in an approved Administrative Services program with the ability to obtain an Administrative Services Intern Credential upon employment; • Master's Degree in Education or a related field from accredited college or university; • Five (5) years combined experience as an AVID teacher and/or AVID site coordinator at the site, district or county level; • Three (3) years of experience working in a leadership position with AVID or similar program; • Two (2) years experience designing and implementing professional development programs.
