BASIC FUNCTION: Plan, organize, control, and direct a team of specialized human resources staff in one of two functional areas: staffing or support management; develop a mission, goals, and achievable and measurable objectives within the overall goals of the Human Resources Division. Please see the district's website for the full job bulletin. Scheduled for 12 months per year. Qualifies for District Paid health and wellness benefits for employee and dependents. This recruitment will establish an Eligibility List for the current vacancy as well as any future vacancies. This list will be active for three (3) months with the possibility to be extended. The Human Resources Officer will be paid on the Non-Represented Classified Supervisor Salary Schedule N700. Salary Grade: 34. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to a master’s degree in human resources or a related field, and five (5) years of progressively responsible human resources experience in a school district with expertise in one or more of the two functional areas (staffing or support management). LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid California driver's license.
