South Hills Academy, a pre-school through 12^th grade private Christian school in West Covina, has a history of 60 years of academic excellence. Duties include:

• Teaching assigned grade level, following the school’s prescribed curriculum
• Assessing and maintaining detailed records of the learning progress of students
• Maintaining regular and accurate attendance records of students
• Planning, and participating in, teacher-parent conferences to maintain open communication about student progress
• Following school policies and procedures as directed by the Head of Schools and outlined in the Employee and Faculty Handbooks
• Setting annual professional development goals, culminating in an end-of-year assessment of performance to goals

What we are looking for in a candidate to join our team:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or other relatable major
• Teaching credential
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer literacy
