About the Employer

Art of Problem Solving (AoPS) develops educational opportunities for many of the most eager students in the world. We have trained tens of thousands of the country’s top students over the last 17 years, including nearly all the members of the US International Math Olympiad team, through our online school, learning centers, textbooks, and online learning systems. Over the years, our international online community of advanced problem solvers has grown to over 500,000 members. While our primary focus has been math for most of our history, we have started expanding into new subjects, such as language arts, science, and computer science.

Job Summary

Job Summary

Come teach motivated students at AoPS Academy this summer! AoPS Academy is an after-school academic math and language arts training academy for high-performing elementary, middle and high school students. AoPS Academy is a part of Art of Problem Solving (aops.com), a company developing educational opportunities for many of the most eager students in the world through an online school, book series, and on-ground learning centers. We are currently in search of language arts teachers for our summer program! During the summer, we offer two 2-week sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Morning classes are held from 9:00-12:00 and afternoon classes are held from 1:00-4:00. Why AoPS Academy? Teach in dynamic classes that focus on participation, inquiry, and problem-solving. Small class sizes with motivated elementary, middle, and high school students. Spend more time teaching, not dealing with administrative issues. Competitive per-class pay and flexible schedule options.
