Elite Prep Arcadia has been serving the families and students of San Gabriel Valley for over 20 years. We've been dedicated to providing holistic guidance through a variety of programs and services to middle school and high school students as they strive towards their academic and life goals .

As Assistant Director, your role will be to aid the Branch Director facilitate this process through

  1. Providing holistic academic and college counseling to our students (grades 7-12th)
  2. Working with office staff to provide an organized, welcoming and conducive learning experience for our students and parents
  3. Aiding in arranging and potentially developing programs, lesson plans, curriculum and learning materials most effective to students’ goals
  4. Managing and training teaching staff to ensure quality teaching in the classroom
  5. Corresponding with and maintaining relationships with students and their families 
  6. Managing and maintaining administrative infrastructure through internal databases and programs
  7. Responsibly handling financial matters and transactions 

For many of these responsibilities, we will provide hands-on training regardless of your experience or lack thereof. We are looking for someone who can be a teamplayer in our process of building better futures for our students. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (completed)
  • 2+ year of experience in teaching, experience with youth, academic counseling and/or college counseling
  • 1+ years of work in any related or other professional setting

Ideal candidates for the position will display:

  • effective written, in-person, and phone communication skills
  • ability to work full-time (min. 40 hours per week) between the hours of 12 p.m. and 8 p.m. on weekdays and between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturdays
  • Interest in advancing career in the field of education and seize opportunities for professional development and growth

Compensation and Period of Employment

Compensation is commensurate with experience. Employment is on a full-time basis. Minimum commitment of 2 years.
